New To My Book Closet

It's that time of the week again. Time to show you what bookish goodies made their way into my home and book closet (to be saved from the evil book eating cat monster named Aria). This is inspired by the various "mailbox" posts out there (eg. In My Mailbox by The Story Siren, and Stacking the Shelves by Tynga's Reviews)

Some pretty awesome arrivals into my mailbox this week.

I am pretty sure this book will be in plenty of mailboxes this week. I haven't had a chance to start this yet, but it is high on my list of books to sneak in as soon as I have a chance. This cover is even more striking in person. I love the colour scheme.

Empire of Storms by Sarah J Maas (goodreads)

It is no secret that I love Stranger Things. I saw this mug and HAD to order it. I especially love that Will's name is upside down (those who have watched it will understand why).

Lastly, Raincoast Books had their winter/spring blogger preview event this weekend. Everyone who participated received a swag pack filled with amazing things.

I lucked out and got lots of Sarah J Maas awesomeness. I am super curious about Freeks as I have been wanting a good paranormal read for some time now.

Freeks by Amanda Hocking (goodreads)
The Bone Witch by Riu Chupeco (goodreads)

A huge thank you to Raincoast Books for the amazing event, and the swag bag! It was a fun bookish time as always!

What bookish items made their way into your mailbox this week?

Happy Weekend and Happy Reading!

I love comments. Thank you for stopping by my blog and thank you even more for leaving me a comment.

I have decided to make this an awards free blog. I appreciate the gesture, and love that you thought of my blog, however I simply can't pass them along as required.
